Is there a reason there’s no in-game report button?

I realize originally the game was strictly desktop, so it wasn’t as much of an issue, but with a growing number of mobile users it’s annoyingly cumbersome to report someone. Has it ever been addressed why there isn’t an in-game option to report?
Am I jaded right now from someone roping me after a long and really good game that I ended up winning but they roped the final priority ostensibly because of saltiness? Yes, but my question still feels valid.

Because 3/5 matches at minimum would result in a report when people are salty they lost/got flooded/etc
If they make it harder there will be less to deal with
